Create colour palettes with the colour wheel or image, browse thousands of colour combinations from the Adobe Color community.
This tool is built for designers and developers to test colour contrast compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These calculations are based on the formulas specified by the W3C.
To run your test, select a foreground colour and a background colour. The results will automatically generate and you will receive your scores. You will receive a pass, margin or fail, depending on your selections. You may select ‘Add To History’ to add your swatch to a list generated below. When you have multiple swatches in your History, you may save to PDF.
Once you have created your swatch, you can view it in grayscale to see how the colour appear to a colourblind user. Simply click “See Grayscale” above the main swatch box to toggle the view.
